There are many ways to make a difference close to home. At the Greater Green Valley Community Foundation, our role is to help strengthen the network of nonprofit organizations, donors, businesses, and community partners working every day to make Southern Arizona a better place to live.

Through grant making, nonprofit support, community partnerships, education, and initiatives like Shine Forward Southern Arizona, we help connect generosity with the people and organizations that can put it to work.

More Than Five Decades of Local Impact

Since 1970, the Greater Green Valley Community Foundation has awarded more than $7 million to nonprofit organizations serving our region.

Today, we proudly support communities throughout Sahuarita, Green Valley, Amado, Arivaca, Tubac, Tumacácori, Rio Rico and Nogales, helping local generosity create meaningful impact close to home.

Make a gift of $100 or more to the Greater Green Valley Community Foundation through Shine Forward Southern Arizona by November 11 and receive two complimentary tickets to Sip, Swirl, Shop & Shine Forward on November 14 at Historic Canoa Ranch.

Your tickets include 10 wine and beer tastings per ticket, along with a day celebrating local wineries, breweries, businesses, nonprofits and the spirit of giving throughout Southern Arizona.

SHINE FORWARD CONNECTION

Creating More Ways to Give Back

Shine Forward Southern Arizona is a year-round initiative of the Greater Green Valley Community Foundation, created to help more people discover, connect with, and support the nonprofit organizations serving our region.

The initiative launches with a special giving campaign running through November 30, but the work doesn't end there.

Throughout the year, Shine Forward will continue to bring greater visibility to local nonprofits, connecting people with causes they care about and creating new opportunities for generosity, volunteerism, and community involvement.

Giving shouldn't happen only during one season; it should keep moving forward all year long.

A Note About the November Prize Pool

As the organization behind Shine Forward Southern Arizona, the Greater Green Valley Community Foundation will not take part in the November nonprofit prize pool. Those prize opportunities are reserved for participating nonprofit organizations.

Gifts made to GGVCF still qualify for the Sip, Swirl, Shop & Shine Forward ticket promotion described above.
