Who are We?
Shine Forward Southern Arizona is the special project of the Greater Green Valley Community Foundation designed to acquaint and raise awareness of the nonprofit communities in Southern Arizona for on-line fundraising. Many people who call southern Arizona home are unfamiliar with all the services provided and how they might become involved in supporting their community. The website is a guide and resource to engage newcomers and long-time residents linking community-mindedness with passion for service and generosity. Your Gifts are an investment in a stronger more connected southern Arizona. By coming together for one month (November 2026) we can create a greater impact of financial support throughout southern Arizona.
Why it matters?
Our vision is to demonstrate how a coordinated online month-long giving campaign can mobilize tens of thousands of people to support local causes.
It’s both a community event and a practical way to address urgent needs community-wide. Collective giving is essential for nonprofits survival and growth.
