This scholarship program is dedicated to empowering women in Southern Arizona by removing financial barriers to education. Serving young women graduating from Walden Grove, Sahuarita, and Rio Rico High Schools, as well as adult women 21 and older in Pima and Santa Cruz Counties, the program creates opportunities for both first-time college students and those ready to return and complete their educational journey.

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, determination, and the demonstrated ability to succeed. Funds are paid directly to educational institutions and applied toward tuition and fees, ensuring that support goes exactly where it is needed most.

Our Mission

To provide scholarships to empower women through education.

Our Impact

Since its founding in 2016, the program has grown from awarding two $1,000 scholarships to creating a meaningful and lasting impact across Southern Arizona. As of 2025, a total of $344,700 has been awarded to 127 women—each one taking a step toward a stronger future.

Today, scholarships of $3,500 help remove financial barriers and open doors to higher education. With a goal of raising $105,000 this year to fund 30 scholarships, the program continues to expand its reach—supporting women who are ready to move forward, build careers, and uplift their families and communities.

Behind these numbers are powerful stories of resilience and transformation. Over the past decade, scholarship recipients have gone on to achieve extraordinary milestones:

a first-generation college student and daughter of Honduran immigrants beginning medical school with the support of a second scholarship;

a determined young woman with dyslexia who earned a master’s degree in education and became Teacher of the Year in her district;

a single mother facing financial hardship who pursued culinary school and changed the course of her life;

and a woman who, in her 40s, fulfilled her dream of becoming a dental hygienist.

These are not just scholarships—they are turning points.

Each award represents a life changed, a barrier removed, and a future reimagined. Because when you invest in a woman’s education, you invest in stronger families, a more resilient workforce, and a thriving Southern Arizona community.

Our Goal

Continuing to raise funds through building relationships with donors, increasing awareness of our scholarship program, and through our annual Matching Fund Campaign and Javelina Hoedown Fundraiser.
